Dr. Campbell is a Knoxville native who has been practicing in the Knoxville area since 2002. He graduated from Doyle High School and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, finishing Summa Cum Laude. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He moved to Tallahassee, Florida where he completed his internship and residency at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Family Medicine. Since returning to Knoxville, Dr. Campbell focuses on preventive care and high quality acute and chronic care management to all his patients. His clinical interests range from management of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, and COPD/asthma to sports medicine, office based procedures, and pediatric medicine. Dr. Campbell and his wife, Sarah (a physician assistant) have enjoyed the time they have spent in Knoxville developing relationships with their patients and this heart-warming commonality. When Dr. Campbell is not seeing patients, you can find him attempting to keep up with his wife and two young active daughters. He enjoys spending time with them by the pool, gardening, reading, and watching UT sports. Don’t be surprised if you see him running on a greenway near you. He is available to see patients of all ages at the Deane Hill or Northshore location.
